Weekend Pics and a Question

How was your weekend?  I hope it was relaxing and restful. We had a great weekend!

Cohen has really been enjoying bath time with his “girlfriend” – lil miss duckie.  Can you believe those baby blues?!? (on the baby, not the duck!)

We’ve also been having lots of tummy time – this is a real challenge for C.  He really doesn’t like it but it’s part of his physio therapy…so it has to be done.  Sorry bud.

I’ve been enjoying my new camera and taking pics of my favorite subject.  Photo shoot time.  Photos with the bear…

and the sheep…

until C started getting impatient with his camera-totin’ mamma.

At this point he was very frustrated with me and my stupid photo shoot!

So we cuddled and made up.  Then he was back to his very smiley self.

He especially loves laughing at this little monkey and her kleenex-eating antics.

But the best part of my whole weekend was spending time with some of our best friends, Amanda and Jacob.  They came from Alberta to visit Amanda’s family, and us! Friday night was the Cook/Boersma sleepover partay!   We ate pizza, made fun of the Bachelor together and talked way too late into the night.

On Saturday we ate more delicious food (lemon ricotta pancakes, bacon and eggs), went shopping and had lunch at this fantastic new restaurant called “The UnBurger”.

It was so awesome to see these two.  They are the kind of friends we can laugh so hard with but also share deeply and honestly with.  Friends like that are hard to find and I feel so blessed to have them.  We love you two so much!

And here is my question for you:

What would you like to read more about on this blog?  Please feel free to leave a comment or shoot me an email.  I always LOVE hearing from you!

  3. I found your blog through To Love Honor and Vacuum. You have a beautiful baby boy! I’m commenting because I also have a Coan (pronounced Cohen) who is a red head, BUT he is 17 yrs old 🙂
