“Forget the former things;
do not dwell on the past.
See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness
and streams in the wasteland.”
May we have the courage to let go of the past.
Learning from it, but not leaning on it.
Dealing with it, yet not dwelling on it.
May we have vision to perceive the new things God is doing.
And may we trust that even when all we see is wilderness, a powerful stream is cutting through dry ground to bring refreshing, hope and new life!
Don’t give up – spring is just around the corner.
