Alex and I lived in Byron Bay, Australia for 6 months of the first year of our marriage. It was the most beautiful place to live. And the best part of living there – learning to surf.
We literally lived a 10 minute walk from the beach and less than a 10 minute drive from at least 4 amazing surf spots. We surfed a lot. Unfortunately we haven’t since then and we’re feeling the urge. Being landlocked in the Canadian prairies will do that to a person.
So this winter we’re gonna go find some surf. Yes, we’ll be bringing Cohen with us and so we have to find the perfect spot. Somewhere not to far away (no long flights), somewhere that is kid friendly, in a surf spot, not overcrowded. And I think I found it in Mexico!
What do you think?!?
This is the surf right outside of the castle. Oh, I didn’t tell you it was a beach castle?!? Here, have a look.
If you look really closely you can see the hammock in the crows nest where I plan to take my afternoon naps! HA!
Yes, that bed is hanging by ropes. Yes, you do see that correctly.
Sure, I’ll cook you a breakfast burrito in the kitchen overlooking our private beach! No problem.
Oh, and to top it all off – it’s pet friendly! Bailey, say hello to ocean-living.
And………
there are TWO master bedrooms. Who’s coming?
Where is it? Looks amazing.
Mexico!!
Umm – count me in! I’ll be bringing along a pootch, 2 kiddos and a hubs too 🙂 We can all fit in the other master I’m sure of it! ha ha Where in the heck is this place?! It’s amazing!
I think so! Ha ha. Oh Mexico, you are a lovely lady.
